NORTHEAST, Texas — Northeast Texas Community College put together one of its most exciting series of the season, using late-inning heroics, clutch power, and resilient pitching to sweep Panola College across three tightly contested games.

Game 1: Eagles Rally Late in 10-Inning Thriller (5-4)
Northeast Texas opened the series with a comeback win on the road, erasing a 4-1 deficit to defeat Panola in 10 innings. After falling behind following a fifth-inning two-run homer, the Eagles chipped away behind key swings from

Back at home, Northeast Texas secured the series with another late-game finish, edging Panola 4-3.
The Eagles built an early 2-0 lead behind an RBI from

Game 3: Riley Patterson Walk Off Home Run Completes the Sweep

The Eagles jumped out early, scoring three runs in the first inning highlighted by a two-run home run from
BJ Lumkins. They extended the lead to 5-0 before Panola answered with a five-run fourth inning to tie the game, followed by a two-run homer in the fifth to take a 7-5 lead.
Northeast Texas refused to back down. The Eagles responded with two runs in the fifth to tie the game, then reclaimed the lead in the sixth on Lumkins' second home run of the day. After Panola tied it again in the seventh, Northeast Texas delivered the decisive blow in extra innings.
