Northeast Texas Community College closed out its three-game series against Angelina College with a statement 13-0 victory on April 11, securing the season series 3-2 over the Roadrunners.
The Eagles' dominant finale not only salvaged the weekend but also reinforced their earlier success against Angelina, as NTCC previously swept a doubleheader on March 3 with 7-0 and 6-5 victories.
Game 1: Late Rally Sinks Eagles in 10-9 Loss
NTCC came out strong in the series opener, building a 6-0 lead through five innings behind a balanced offensive attack and a quality start from Chris Whitaker.

The Eagles' offense backed him in a big way, scoring 13 runs on 12 hits. A six-run fifth inning broke the game open and put the contest out of reach.
Jonathon Kent led the offense with a home run and three RBIs, while BJ Lumkins added another strong performance with a homer and four RBIs. Riley Patterson also went deep and drove in three runs, and Cameron Reiter contributed two hits and scored three times.
Season Series Secured
Despite dropping the middle two games of the weekend, NTCC's earlier sweep on March 3 proved pivotal in claiming the season series 3-2.
