The NTCC Men's and Women's Soccer Programs are proud to announce their newly remodeled soccer complex.
The redeveloped, fan-friendly facility features a front entry portal to greet fans, a wrapped food truck / concession stand, awnings to protect the faithful from rain, and sun, a railing separating the fans from the playing surface, updated, branded windscreens and scoreboard, world cup style goals and nets, bench coverings for the players and coaches, as well as a new permanent sound system and a flag pole.
Head coaches Jon Evan and Dillon Williams have worked tirelessly since joining forces 2 seasons ago to make the soccer programs a great experience for the student athletes.
"This is a special place, and we are extremely grateful in particular to the outgoing administration of president Dr. Ron Clinton and the incoming administration of Dr. Kevin Rose especially Vps
Dr. Jon McCullough and Mrs. Brandi Cave for helping to see this project over the finish line." Evan said. "Coach Williams and I have always inspired our teams to have pride in our programs and the resources that we have, this facility is something that our programs, the NTCC community and the surrounding Mount Pleasant Soccer community will be able to enjoy." "We will try to give them something special on the field that they can be proud of as well." Added Williams.
"We also want to acknowledge the best athletic director and staff we could ask for in coach
Andy Morgan and assistant a.d. Justin Hargrove for their continued support, as well the NTCC welding academy and lead instructor Sergio Sanchez for their fine work in helping us put these structures together. We are forever grateful for them."
The men's soccer program was established in 2010 with the women's program being established the following year in 2011, while NTCC celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025.
The updated complex will officially be used for the 1st time in the fall 2025 NJCAA soccer season.
