Fort Worth, Texas — On Friday day evening in Fort Worth, the NTCC men's soccer team came out with a better effort after falling at home a week earlier to the very same Hill College team. Coming off a well-played 0-0 tie with PJC at home, the Eagles looked like the better side throughout the first half and jumped out to the 1-0 lead. Hill College would tie it up and head to the break even at 1 goal apiece. Hill would go on to claim the 4-1 victory.
>> HOW IT HAPPENED:
NTCC went ahead on a
Brandon Guevara goal in the 15th minute.
Guevara scored his 1st goal of the season on a rebound off a missed shot.
The Eagles out possessed and outshot Hill in the 1st half
Hill College scored on corner kick to level the score at 1-1 midway through the 1st half.
NTCC goalkeeper, freshman,
Mauricio Bosco kept the score even at 1.
Both teams would trade attacking sequences in the 2nd half
Hill College finished their chances for a 4-1 result in their favor.
