Dillon Williams joined coach E's staff at NTCC in August of 2024.

Williams came to Mount Pleasant after serving as a graduate assistant to Don Koontz at Texas A & M Texarkana as well as a club role coaching with FC Dallas East Texas.

Williams will serve as assistant to both the men's and women's programs and will play a significant role in strength and conditioning and goalkeeper development.

Coach Williams was a standout student athlete and midfield leader of 3 of Koontz' TAMUT teams.

In 2021 Williams and the Eagles marched to the program's first postseason appearance. Williams posted 1 goal and 3 assists out of midfield in the campaign.

Williams finished his career with 3 goals and 3 assists leading the team once again to the postseason in his senior year.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Williams played in the U.S Soccer professional development system with USL2 Blue Goose of Shreveport, LA.  

Williams has earned a bachelor's in Kinesiology / Exercise Science from Texarkana and is currently pursuing his MS in interdisciplinary studies from TAMUT. He is a member of the United Soccer Coaches Association.

Justin Hargrove joined the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) in 1995, and has been a licensed Athletic Trainer since 1998 and obtained his National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification in 2000. Justin arrived at Northeast Texas Community College as the Athletic Trainer and Instructor of Human Performance in 2017.  In February of 2019, Justin added the additional duties of Assistant Athletic Director for NTCC. With the completion of his Master’s degree he now he serves as Director of Human Performance in the new Associates of Science Human Performance degree program at NTCC.
Justin is a native of Mount Pleasant, Texas graduating from Mount Pleasant High School in 1994. Justin attended Howard Payne University (HPU) in Brownwood, Texas earning a Bachelor of Science degree in All Level Physical Education in 1998. Justin obtained his Master of Science degree in Athletic Administration from Texas A&M University--Commerce in August of 2019. During his time at HPU, he served as a Summer Intern Athletic Trainer for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1994 & 1995 under the direction of Hall of Fame Athletic Trainer Otho Davis, and with the Dallas Cowboys in 1996. Upon graduation in 1998, Justin served as a Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainer for the New York Jets for the 1998 Season. Justin has also worked for an Orthopedic Surgeon in Brownwood, Texas, Dr. Marlen Strefling, in a Physical Therapy Clinic in Longview, Texas and the Secondary School Setting (2004-2017) at Mount Pleasant High School as Athletic Trainer.
At Northeast Texas Community College, Justin has built the Athletic Training and Human Performance programs from the start. Both programs had not existed at NTCC prior to his arrival in August of 2017. The Associates of Science in Human Performance has seen tremendous growth in the three years of existence. The Athletic Training program has grown from working off of couches and the back of his truck to a full athletic training facility and a mobile athletic training trailer under his direction.
In his role as Assistant Athletic Director, Justin serves as game day administrator, assist with staff evaluations and hires, writes press releases, and started and coordinates a weekly coaches show on a local radio station. Justin assist in all aspects of public relations and fundraising for the athletic department.
Justin served on the Southwest Athletic Trainers Association (SWATA) Secondary Schools Athletic Trainers Committee from 2015-2018 and joined the SWATA Public Relations committee from July of 2018-July 2020. In 2018, Justin joined the NATA District 6 AT’s Care team as well. In Fall of 2020, Justin began serving on the Sulphur Springs ISD Health Science Advisory Board. In his spare time, Justin serves as a Volunteer Firefighter for the city of Mount Pleasant Fire Department and Assistant Chief with the Nortex Volunteer Fire Department in Titus County, Texas. Justin has been married to Kay Hargrove since 2003 and they have two children Devon (Wife Raeleigh) and Madison.

Assistant Coach Drew Madden is a graduate of East Texas A&M University in Agricultural Science. He also has an associate's degree in AG Science and Technology from West Hills Community College in Coalinga. He is a true product of college rodeo. Coach Madden is a first-generation cowboy from Sloughhouse, CA. He is a true student of the game, being a CNFR qualifier and a three-time California Circuit Finals qualifier in steer wrestling, and is the 2024 California Rookie of the Year.
 
Through his dedication to both academics and athletics, Coach Madden has built a reputation for leadership, discipline, and hard work. His experience in the arena has shaped his approach to coaching, emphasizing fundamentals, consistency, and mental toughness. He believes success in rodeo and in life comes from preparation, grit, and respect for the process.
 
As an assistant coach, he is committed to developing student-athletes not only as competitors but as individuals. He takes pride in mentoring young rodeo athletes, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and character. His background in agricultural science and his hands-on rodeo experience allow him to connect classroom knowledge with real-world application.
 
Coach Madden continues to stay active in the rodeo community and remains passionate about preserving the Western lifestyle and values that shaped him. His goal is to give back to the sport that provided him with opportunity and direction, and to help the next generation of competitors reach their full potential.
 

Coach Justin Hampton brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the NTCC Rodeo program through years of coaching at West Hills College in Coalinga, California (2014-21). While at WHCC, Hampton’s teams won numerous regional championships, as well as many individual honors, while sending both men’s and women’s teams to the College National Finals Rodeo each year.

A seven-time California Circuit Finalist and Circuit Champ in 1999 in team roping, Hampton is also an educator of many years at various teaching positions in the Central Valley of California.

Coach Hampton is excited about where the NTCC Rodeo program is headed as well as being able to utilize the outstanding Priefert Rodeo Facility. “The vision and support of the rodeo program here at NTCC, as well as the community, has been a huge factor in my decision to coach here” says Coach Hampton.

A graduate of West Hills College Coalinga with an Associate of Arts in Ag Business, Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University Fresno, and a Master of Arts in History from Southern New Hampshire University, Hampton is a product of College Rodeo. As a student athlete he was able to qualify for the CNFR numerous times at the very college that he was able to return to and become the Head Coach. “I push the value of education to each one of our rodeo student-athletes and have always stood by the motto, this is College Rodeo, not Rodeo College”.

Coach Hampton was raised in Bakersfield, California before moving to Coalinga. He now resides in Blossom, Tx with his wife, Jennifer after relocating to be near their two daughters Abigayle Hampton-Williams, Elizabeth Hampton, and son-in-law Eric William

Jon Evan joined NTCC as tthe new men's head soccer coach in April of 2023.
Evan came to Mount Pleasant after 2 seasons leading the program at Sul Ross State University .

In 2021, he led the four-year-old SRSU program to the highest win total in program history. Under Evan's leadership, the Lobos also won back-to-back games and put together the first three-game win streak in program history.

Other highlights in his first season in charge include winning the first pre-conference tournament in program history, placing three student athletes on the ASC All-Conference team, and graduating the first four-year student athletes in program history.

In 2019, Evan led Eastern to a .500 season, two years removed from a three-win campaign while continuing to play one of the toughest schedules in the country. With two full recruiting classes on campus the Mountaineers were competitive in every game and made their mark in Region II and beyond.

The 2019 squad, led by sophomore captains Alpha Diallo and Leonardo Schulz, earned Eastern’s first victory over defending conference champion Rose State, a last-second victory. 

Sophomore's Dani Huerta and Jose Ruarte led the team in points, assists, and goals. The duo was recognized on the Region II All-Conference team. Notably, off the field, Evan's student-athletes were strong in the classroom as 17 of the 21 players on the roster maintained a GPA above a 3.0, with seven players earning distinction on the NJCAA All Academic team for perfect 4.0 GPA’s.
In his second season in charge of the Mountaineers, Evan, led by sophomore Edgar Torres, the Mountaineers qualified as the third-seed, in a much improved Region II, by earning points with their season on the line in four of their last five games.

Eastern played two teams that reached the NJCAA Division I semifinals and the eventual Division III national champion, Richland. In fact Eastern was one of only two teams to beat Richland on its way to its seventh national championship.

Eastern knocked off Richland, which was ranked No. 1 in the country at the time, in a thrilling 2-1 game at Richland to spark its late-season run to the Region II semifinals. 

Additionally, Torres was once again named to the Region II All-Conference team along with freshmen Marc-Antoine Huzen. Sophomore Chris Thorpe was also recognized for his efforts, earning a spot on the Region II All-Tournament team.

Once again, the Mountaineer's earned high marks in the classroom with a team GPA above 3.2, and had multiple team members recognized for academic excellence on the NJCAA All-Academic team.
In his first season at Eastern, Evan led the Mountaineers to a Region II semifinal appearance, placing two players on the Region II All-Conference team.
Prior to Eeastern, Evan spent a year as the associate head coach at Jackson State University. In 2016-17, Evan also served as a staff coach for MS Soccer ODP and the state education staff.
In the spring of 2016, he led his U19 boy's team to the USYF National Championship.  
Evan moved to Jackson State following a short stint with Oakland City in the spring of 2016 after spending the 2015 season as the assistant men’s and women’s coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College.

Evan also served as a staff coach for TN Soccer ODP and the KY Soccer education staff.

Prior to KWC, he was the head men’s soccer coach at Brescia University.  He arrived at Brescia after spending 2013 with the TN Olympic Development program and coaching club soccer in Clarksville, Tenn., in addition to his duties as director of coaching for National Soccer Club.

In the spring of 2012, Evan was named the coaching director for NSC and guided the U18 boys to an undefeated season.

Prior to his experience in Tennessee, Evan was the head men’s soccer coach at UMaine Farmington. In his first season in charge, Evan guided UMF to its best regular-season finish since becoming a D-III member of the NAC. 

Under Evan’s leadership in 2011, UMF achieved its highest regular-season win total as a D-III program amassing nine regular season wins and compiling a 6-3 conference record, a program best since joining D-III.

The 2011 team accomplished these feats as the least carded team in the league and earned distinction for fair play. 

In the summer of 2011, Evan worked with MPS Portland Phoenix of the Premier Development League.

In the fall of 2010, Evan was an assistant coach with the Rollins College national runner-up team. 

Evan also served as assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer for the Laredo Heat of the PDL, and continued to work as goalkeeper/personal trainer for Ryan “Godda” Thompson of Jamaican national team fame.  Prior to arriving in Laredo, he spent two seasons at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.

After arriving at MSU in the spring of 2008, Evan tutored two elite goalkeepers during his tenure at MSU. In his inaugural season in 2008, the Mustangs won a Lone Star Conference Championship and achieved a No. 1 national ranking in the final NSCAA regular season poll, as well as an NCAA regional championship behind the efforts of first-team All-Lone Star Conference goalkeeper Sean Carr.

In his second season at MSU, Evan was instrumental in the recruitment of standouts Vcmor Eligwe, Paulo Texeira and Raul Herrera. The three standouts played key roles in a run to the Final Four in 2010. In 2009, Herrera garnered first-team All-American honors after leading NCAA Division II in goals against average (.304) and shutouts (11).  

Immediately before arriving at MSU, he served as an assistant coach and goalkeeper trainer for head coach Josh Dunn's Fernandina Beach, Fla., state runner-up team in 2007.

He spent the 2006 season as an assistant coach at Boston University while serving concurrently in the same capacity at Babson College. His BU goalkeepers finished with a school record 0.58 goals against average that season, leading the Terriers to a 10-4-5 record, while his Babson keepers finished with an impressive 0.64 gaa including 13 shutouts.

Evan served as an assistant coach at Jacksonville University from 2003-05. The Dolphins made a vast improvement on the playing field during Evan's tenure, improving from three wins in 2002 to earning a spot in the Atlantic Sun tournament title match in 2005.

At Jacksonville, Evan recruited and mentored Jamaican national team member Akeem Priestly. Priestly earned Atlantic Sun Offensive Player of the Year honors at JU before transferring to the University of Connecticut, where he was a two-time All-Big East selection. Priestley was a top-50 pick of the Kansas City Wizards in the 2009 MLS draft.

Prior to joining the coaching ranks, Evan played professionally in the USL for the Jacksonville Cyclones and Cocoa Expos. At the collegiate level, he was a goalkeeper on two NCAA Division II Final Four teams at Southern Connecticut State under the guidance of associate head coach John Deely and Ray Reid.

Evan has earned a bachelor's in exercise science from Jacksonville University and a master's in Kinesiology from Midwestern State University. He is a nationally certified personal trainer/ nutrition counselor and also holds coaching licenses with both the NSCAA and USSF.

A native of New England, Evan splits his time between Jacksonville, Fla., and Mount Pleasant, Texas, with his wife and two children.

Taniece previously served as Assistant Coach with the NTCC Eagle Softball program for the 2024-2025 year. Coach Tyson started her collegiate career at McNeese State University from 2019-2021. While at McNeese I played in 14 games and made five starts as a Cowgirl.
Taniece transferred to San Jacinto College, earning an Associate’s degree in Business Administration in 2021-2022, while competing in Region 14. Tyson earned Second-Team All American, First-Team All- Region, Academic Scholar Athlete, and helping her team get to Nationals.
Coach Tyson earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi. Tyson saw action in 42 games and made 38 starts hitting .293 batting average and a .338 on-base percentage for the Islanders. Taniece was named SLC hitter of the week on March 11, 2024, after going 7- for-10 at the plate during a three-game sweep over A&M- Commerce.
