NTCC Women's Soccer Continues to Build, Grow and Compete

The Northeast Texas Community College women’s soccer program is entering the 2026-27 season with a growing roster, increased competition and plenty of excitement surrounding the program.

After making the playoffs last season with a smaller roster, the Eagles have continued to build the program both on and off the field. This season, NTCC enters the year with 23 players on the roster, providing the team with more depth, more competition and more opportunities throughout the season.

The growth has been a major focus for the program. From expanding the roster to continuing improvements around the field, the Eagles are working to establish a stronger foundation for the future while continuing to compete in Region XIV.

With more players comes more competition for playing time, more options throughout the lineup and the ability to create stronger rotations throughout the season. For a program that has continued to grow, the increased numbers have brought a new level of energy to the team.

“It’s an exciting year,” said NTCC Head Women’s Soccer Coach Dillon Williams. “I’ve definitely had fun building out the roster this spring and summer. We have some exciting new recruits from all over Texas, along with a few internationals who are returning as well. I’m really looking forward to the year. More numbers means more fun, more excitement and more competition. We’ve been excited about building out the roster, and now it’s time to go compete.”

The Eagles will look to build on last season’s playoff appearance and use the depth of this year’s roster to continue moving the program forward.

For NTCC, the goal is not only to compete this season, but to continue building a program that can grow year after year.

With 23 players ready to take the field, the Eagles are bigger, deeper, and ready for another opportunity to compete.
